Now that you have a satisfactory project map, a team is required to convert the plan into accomplishments. The Leadership Team formulates methodologies for achieving goals outlined in the project map. Using team meetings, the leaders identify their strengths and areas of expertise. Leadership skills are honed. Roles and responsibilities are identified and assigned and implementation schedules are created.
At the kick-off meeting, the leadership team and coaches present the plan to selected key employees. The roles of the employees are clearly explained and defined.
Individuals from within the organisation are selected to serve as coaches to their associates. These coaches will be responsible for working with co-workers in reaching corporate goals. Those selected to serve as coaches receive training in both the continuous improvement process and how to be successful coaches.
With your coaches and d.i.associates' consultants / trainers taking the lead, participants begin to develop processes, teams and continuous improvement skills all designed to satisfy the goals of the project plan. Skills develop and improve through the use of classroom instruction and coaching sessions between classes. Participants also receive follow-up coaching and instruction as necessary.
